NESPL Rules Reference Chart
Batteries: This is the total number of batteries allowed per class.
Batt Size: This is the maximum size allowed per battery, this applies to the main Battery in each system. Amateur classes will have smaller size limits for secondary batteries. Refer to the bottom of this list for limits.
Voltage: This is the maximum voltage allowed per class.
Tones: This means Test Tones are allowed only in certain classes, but not all. Only music may be played in the Amateur classes, but music can be played in all classes.
Mods: This applies to interior modifications.
Capacitors: This is the total number of Farads allowed per class.
Amps: This is the total number of subwoofer amplifiers allowed per class.
Power: This the total amount of power allowed per class, applies only to subwoofer amplifers.
1*, 2*, 4* - Amplifier limit, strapped amps are allowed. Example: 1* means one pair of monblock amps strapped.
Limited* - Modifications allowed only for purpose of a "Show Car" system.
Unlimited* - Unlimited behind "B" Pillar Only.
Limited amps* - Limit of 1 strapped pair per sub.
Stock Battery limit - One 800 cu in battery allowed as the main battery, and One 800 cu in or smaller allowed in the trunk/cargo area as a secondary battery.
Amateur Battery limits** - One 800 cu in battery is allowed as the main battery, and a 2nd battery no larger than 600 cu in will be allowed. Example would be the XS Power D6500 or smaller.
